I wonder if OnlyFans had anticipated the backlash and then already had this response planned.

Not faulting them for trying to get users, but this strategy literally got them in the news on business social websites, non-business social, and even the mainstream news. And…this reversal gets them in the news cycle again in a way that makes them appear like the “good guys”.

Maybe it’s the cynical side in me, but I call BS. OnlyFans is in the process of trying to do a rather large raise in the private markets before eventually going public. Something smells fishy to me…
